HFLS swept the awards, receiving praise for "Gold Prize for the Best Comprehensive Performance", "Gold Prize for the Best Player", and "Best Original Award", as well as the title of "Best Organization Award of National Finals" for its English Player named "The Musician in Bremen".

HFLS won two group Gold Prizes, one group Silver Prize, eight individual Gold Prizes, four individual Silver Prizes, and seven individual Bronze Prizes.

World-class talent awards
In 2016, Ziheng Huang, Grade 2 Senior High School Japanese Class of Hailiang Foreign Lanuage School’s Asia Department, won the Championship of the 1/14 Flat Race of the Youngster Group and Open Group at the 1st International Remote Control Model Car Championship of Youngsters held in Prague, Czech Republic. The Chinese national anthem was proudly played in Prague in honor of his victory.
In 2016, Changyi Wang’s artwork was displayed at the Exhibition of Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage held at the United Nations Headquarters. Changyi Wang was in Grade 7 of the junior high school of Hailiang Foreign Lanuage School when he received this honor.
National Talent Awards
In 2017, at the 12th National Innovative Writing Competition of Primary and High School Students, students from Hailiang won two national First Prizes and six Third Prizes at the preliminary contest and one Third Prize at the finals in Zhejiang Province.
In the field of dance, Hailiang’s 2014 Rumba team won two First Prizes, five Second Place prizes, and one Third Prize of Rumba Single Contest. The 2014 Chacha team won one First Prize and five Second Place prizes at Chacha National Open Championship of CBDF Jinhua International Ballroom Dancing.
Group Awards
Hailiang Primary School won the "Group Award" at the 14th Shaoxing Informatics Competition.
HFLS won the Group First Prize at the Zhejiang Contest of the 12th Star & Torch English Talent Competition of Chinese Youngsters.
